Nenad Stefanovic, the Chief Prosecutor of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, stated that the claims that arrests being carried out these days started only with approval from the top of the government are not true. He emphasized that the process in the fight against corruption is continuous, but that the public only comments on the part of the process visible to them. Regarding the control of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), he said that anyone who hasn't committed criminal acts has no reason to fear.
