The EU-Serbia Civil Society Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) adopted a joint declaration expressing deep concern over the escalating political and institutional crisis in Serbia, along with a strong call for respect for the rule of law, media freedom, and institutional accountability. Special emphasis was placed on student protests, non-transparent projects such as EXPO 2027 and the Jadar mining project, as well as the abuse of police powers.
