From reporting on ordinary life, beauty and joy even under the multi-year Israeli blockade before October 2023, the winner of numerous international journalism awards, Bisan Owda, continued her work after the Hamas attack using the old Arab way of storytelling, Hakawati, recording and preventing the erasure of her people. She dreams of filming ordinary everyday life again in a free and peaceful Palestine.
