The spectacular fall of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, removed from power after sixteen years of unchecked rule, cannot be reduced to a simple political alternation. It resembles instead a historic turning point, one of those rare moments when history seems to hold its breath, a moment of rupture in which a people choose to breathe again after a long period of democratic suffocation, as if Hungary, after years of enforced silence, were finally finding its voice once more.
